Jan Hospodka, CEO of Czech e-commerce platform Shoptet, stated at the Reshoper conference that direct visits from AI tools currently account for approximately 0.3%, of which 76% are new customers; the conversion rate is 29% higher than the omnichannel average and 50% higher than organic traffic; 11,600 stores recorded AI visits, a year-on-year increase of 62%, with some stores seeing AI visit shares as high as 15%; ChatGPT accounts for over 90% of measurable AI traffic; Google's AI Overviews and some Gemini traffic are not yet included in the statistics; 31% of Czech online shoppers use AI for product selection before placing orders, doubling compared to the same period last year; 74% of respondents hold distrustful attitudes toward AI; stores providing structured data receive approximately 50% more AI visits; AI visit shares are higher when product counts exceed 50 or category counts exceed 500; overly long product descriptions show a negative correlation with AI visits; Shoptet is testing an AI agent purchasing solution based on the UCP protocol, planned for launch next year.
Cat Box, an AI companion app under ByteDance, has been online for over two years. Its cumulative iOS in-app purchase revenue exceeds $22 million, with users averaging 14.8 minutes of daily usage time per person. Its monetization efficiency is significantly higher than similar products like Doubao and Jimeng AI; its core model is driven by small, continuous top-ups via a low-threshold virtual currency 'Cat Food' (100 Cat Food = 1 yuan).

It supports viewing statuses such as working/authorization/waiting for input/completed unread/idle, retaining completion reminders, clicking to jump to the corresponding tmux pane, enabling three types of notifications on demand, and quick collapse; installing hooks is required to obtain complete status, and the project is open-sourced on GitHub.
Starting from 2025, platforms such as Amazon will report seller data to Chinese tax authorities on a quarterly basis, covering all store entities whose actual controllers are mainland citizens. This exposes three major issues with the previously relied-upon 'Saiwei model' (where Hong Kong companies receive payments while domestic stores file zero returns): inconsistencies between Hong Kong book revenue and platform net sales/period definitions; lack of clear rules for attributing store data to specific periods; and insufficient commercial substance in Hong Kong companies regarding procurement, title ownership, and decision-making.
Amazon is gray-testing an AI product summary module on the front end of its US site. Alexa automatically extracts 3 core selling points from Listing information and labels them 'Summarized from product information'. On mobile devices, it appears above the five-point descriptions and supports invoking Alexa conversations upon clicking. Currently not fully rolled out, risks include misordered selling points, keyword interference, variant information conflicts, and extraction of non-compliant language. Sellers need to prioritize core selling points, complete structured attributes, and unify information across all pages.
On October 21, the Deputy Head of the State Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan announced that, under the revised Eurasian Economic Union Customs Code, containers will henceforth be managed as transport equipment rather than goods; consequently, within Kyrgyzstan, they require no customs declaration, are exempt from customs fees, have no stay limits, and only need to provide a container number. Separate declarations are required only for buy-sell transactions. Previously, the Eurasian Economic Union had already allowed international freight containers to be freely used for domestic transport, transshipment, multimodal transport, and export.
On June 3, 2026, the White House signed Executive Order No. 14411, "Strengthening Customs Enforcement," shifting import regulation from cargo control to full lifecycle qualification management of importing entities.
Starting September 18, 2026, US Customs CBP will initiate IOR (Importer of Record) authenticity verification based on Executive Order No. 14411, strictly checking 6 items of information on Form 5106 including physical address, email, and phone number; virtual shell IORs will be invalidated, leading to inability to clear customs, port congestion, or cargo detention; the new regulation forces freight forwarders to use US entities with real operational capabilities and pay deposits, costs which will be passed on to sellers; foreign entity IORs must operate through CTPAT-certified customs brokers; Amazon US sellers need to immediately confirm the nature of the IOR entity and the qualifications of the customs broker with their freight forwarders.
German e-commerce platform Otto has launched a plugin on ChatGPT, allowing users to query over 19,000,000 products on the site (including home appliances and coffee machines) within the chat interface. While inquiries are handled within ChatGPT, placing orders and installation services still require returning to Otto's own platform.
This article introduces how to access amazon.com/clp/asin (replacing ASIN with the target product number) to observe Amazon's multi-dimensional recommendation groupings for a single product, thereby identifying consumers' true purchase reasons, such as demand nodes like 2-step design, safety handrail, and high weight capacity. It emphasizes that CLP does not reflect official intent labels but rather observable product relationship clues, which can be used to discover unmet cross-demands. It also suggests combining AI tools (such as SellerSprite MCP) to cluster expanded keywords into demand groups, transforming vague product directions (such as home-oriented Step Ladders) into verifiable hypotheses regarding specific scenarios, materials, colors, and usage spaces.
AMD and Intel announced a collaboration on PyTorch optimizations for x86 CPUs, integrating their respective optimizations (including AMD's ZenDNN) into the open-source library oneDNN, making it the default open-source library for x86 acceleration within PyTorch; both parties are also jointly promoting the AI Compute Extensions (ACE) instruction set for x86, focusing on accelerating matrix multiplication, with plans to integrate it into PyTorch via oneDNN.
